So it is with utter sadness and a heavy heart, that we have received news that Londons finest small events venue, Kilburns The Luminaire is closing after New Years.
Never before (or after?) will alternative nights and experimental music have such a lush, Lynchian decadent space. The Lunatic Duo fondly remember discovering the venue through a  BARR and Lucky Dragons gig after the Beautiful Losers premiere, and was truly blown away and excited that such a DIY yet Luxe venue existed, in London of all places.

The venues closing is another victim on a long list of Lunatic Journal favorite haunts that are closing or gentrifying, ultimately making this city of London that we used to love so much, more mundane, boring and soulless .

We will miss you Luminaire!
